Drake Faculty Development Grant Program

Drake’s Faculty Development Grants, including grants for teaching and professional development, Drake Research Grants, Undergraduate Assistantship Grants and Sabbatical Fellowship awards, fund a variety of activities, including travel to professional-development conferences, participating in training and development workshops, inviting speakers and facilitators to campus, and engaging in disciplinary research and the scholarship of teaching and learning.

These grants are administered by the Office of the Provost. Funding proposals are reviewed by the Faculty Development Advisory Committee, made up of faculty and staff from across the university and chaired by Arthur Sanders, Associate Provost for Curriculum and Assessment.

Below you will find links to a faculty development FAQ document, and information about Faculty Development and Enrichment Grants, The Sabbatical Fellowship Program, Undergraduate Student Assistantships and Drake Research Grants.

Questions and comments should be sent to Arthur Sanders at arthur.sanders@drake.edu.
