Re: Spring 2008 Meeting Schedule

 

The Institutional Review Board would like to inform you of meeting dates for the Spring 2008 semester.  As a reminder, full board proposals must be submitted to the IRB by 5p.m. one week prior to the meeting day (dates proposals due in parentheses).

 

  • February 14th (due February 7th)
  • March 13th (due March 6th)
  • April 10th (due April 3rd)
  • May 8th (due May 1st)

 

There have also been some changes made to the IRB applications.  Please take time to look over and download the new forms from the IRB website (http://www.drake.edu/academics/irb/index.php).  To expedite the review process, we ask that all materials be submitted electronically to the IRB irb@drake.edu.  Those who do not have electronic signatures (see the one below) must also submit a signed copy of the application to the IRB; however, the initiation of the review process is not contingent upon receipt of the signed application.  Finally, training for all persons conducting human participant research requiring an expedited or full board review must complete training on human participants’ research every three years.
