Hold Policy

The Office of Student Accounts will place a hold on a student account that is past due. This hold will restrict the release of transcripts, registration for future terms and diploma. The hold will not be removed until the account balance owed is paid in full.

Drake University is committed to working with each student if payment issues arise. The student is ultimately responsible for this debt and must be responsible for contacting the Office of Student Accounts to discuss available options to resolve any financial issues.

Like many other major expenses in life, the cost of your education is an investment that will pay you dividends throughout your lifetime. To protect that investment, please ensure your account is paid in a timely manner. You can also do your part to keep future tuition increases to a minimum, by making your account payments on time.
