Engaged Citizen Corps

The Engaged Citizen Corps is designed to encourage first-year student engagement in community service and social justice work, while integrating these issues into their academic study and coursework.

As a member, you will commit to weekly service-learning hours in the community, establish strong connections with a wide range of organizations and working professionals, gain skills for your career, meet friends with similar passions, strengthen the community, and connect your community experiences with your academic pursuits.

All members accepted into the Corps will receive, at minimum, $3,000 in scholarships and aid. (Includes a $1,770 stipend to be used toward first-year cost of room and board, and a $1,230 AmeriCorps Education Award to be used toward second-year tuition.)
