PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION

Internships

Nearly 80 percent of Drake undergraduate students gain invaluable experience and a paycheck with off-campus internships and employment. Drake’s location in Des Moines, the capital city of Iowa, offers a wide variety of work opportunities for students in their areas of study and beyond, in business, government, publishing, nonprofit organizations and much more. These internships add to the fact that 99 percent of graduates (in 2007) had a job or a graduate school placement within six months of graduation.

Drake's Professional and Career Development Services is an important source for all students, whether you’re choosing a major, seeking internships, writing your resume, applying to graduate school or launching your career.
