On-Campus Employment

A variety of on-campus jobs are available to students eligible for federal work-study awards, based on calculated financial need. Students apply for work-study awards by completing the FAFSA. Employment awards generally range from $500 to $1,600 per year. A typical Drake student works eight to 12 hours each week. Information and assistance are available in Drake’s Office of Professional and Career Development Services.

Approximately 98 percent of Drake full-time undergraduate students receive financial aid, including both merit- and need-based assistance.
