A U.S. student is defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other eligible non-citizen. All other students should select international.
A transfer student is defined as a student with any college/university coursework taken AFTER high school graduation.
Drake University’s Early Estimate Service provides a free estimate of eligibility for the fall and spring semesters for grants, scholarships, loans and work study. The Early Estimate application is not an official application for financial assistance, but it does provide an early and up-front estimate of potential financial aid eligibility.
Reasons to complete Drake University’s Early Estimate:
The Early Estimate Service is available to dependent and independent undergraduate students who are United States citizens or permanent residents. It is not available to currently enrolled Drake students or those transferring in during the current academic year.
Early Estimate applications will be processed until February 1. Download the PDF form here.
The Early Estimate Service is not available for international students.
