A U.S. student is defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other eligible non-citizen. All other students should select international.
A transfer student is defined as a student with any college/university coursework taken AFTER high school graduation.
International students may apply for financial assistance that is based on financial need. The maximum amount of aid awarded in 2009-2010 is $14,500. These awards are renewable.
Application for need-based awards can be made by completing the Drake University Financial Aid Form or the Foreign Student Financial Aid Application from the College Scholarship Service/College Board. Drake’s Financial Certificate must accompany the financial aid application.
Note to students admitted to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program: Need-based financial assistance and merit aid are available only through the fourth year of the six-year PharmD program.
