Presidential Transfer Awards

Design a personal academic plan, combine majors or create your own major.

A U.S. student is defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other eligible non-citizen. All other students should select international.

A transfer student is defined as a student with any college/university coursework taken AFTER high school graduation.

Presidential Transfer Awards ranging from $5,000 to $8,000 are awarded to qualified transfer students. All first-time transfer students enrolling full-time at Drake are considered for merit-based scholarships at the point of admission.

No separate application is required but students must first submit an application for admission.

Presidential Transfer Awards are renewable based on consecutive full-time undergraduate enrollment. Students with previous bachelor’s degrees are not eligible.
