Benefits of Two Great Colleges—DMACC and Drake
Apply to DMACC and the TRI–Drake Program and enjoy the benefits of two great places at once!
You can plan for a seamless transition from Des Moines Area Community College to Drake University.
Under the Transfer Resource Initiative (TRI) program, you’ll have the benefit of being a student at both schools while you complete your first two years of college at DMACC.
As a TRI student, you’ll work with academic advisers from both Drake and DMACC to develop a plan for your successful transition from DMACC to Drake. You can earn an appropriate associate degree from DMACC, then move on to Drake University to complete your bachelor’s degree in as little as two additional years of full-time study for most programs.
While you’re a DMACC student, the College will automatically send your DMACC transcripts to Drake so an adviser can track your progress and help keep you pointed in the right direction.
Along with academic advising, you can enjoy these benefits from both of your schools—DMACC and Drake:
