Three interesting things about Nate:

  1. My father and brother were both college cheerleaders, and I was a cheerleader here at Drake.
  2. I enjoy traveling, and I studied abroad in China, Uganda, and The Bahamas.
  3. I was part of the team that made the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest custard pie fight.

Why do you love Drake? It’s great to see how Drake students make an impact on our campus from the moment they arrive. Drake students impress me week in and week out with their accomplishments.

What is your favorite thing to do in Des Moines? I like experiencing the music and arts scene. Des Moines has a wide array of offerings like off-Broadway productions, sold out arena shows, music festivals, and acoustic open mic nights.

Advice for prospective students: Visit early, and visit often. Spend time on campuses getting to know programs, professors, and students.
