The single best way for you to figure out if Drake is the place for you is to visit campus. While you're here, you can tour buildings, common areas, and green spaces, and spend time with faculty and students. You can even have some Drake-style fun by enjoying on-campus events, as well as some of the recreation and dining options available in Des Moines.
Experiencing what Drake has to offer firsthand will help you get a feel for who we are, and your visit will allow us to get to know you and talk with you about how Drake can help you reach your goals.
To schedule a visit, choose one of the options listed below or contact your admission counselor to discuss what options would be the best fit for you.
Individual visits to Drake University include a campus tour and a meeting with an admission counselor. Visitors can personalize their campus visit by requesting special appointments with professors in any academic department or staff members in other areas of interest. These appointments are for juniors, seniors and transfer students, require at least a week's notice and cannot be guaranteed.
Coach Appointments: Due to University policy the Office of Admission does not schedule coach appointments. Appointments with coaches are available based on NCAA guidelines and coaches travel schedules and, therefore, cannot be guaranteed. Drake University competes at the NCAA Division I level and encourages interested student athletes to contact coaches directly.
High School Sophomores and Juniors: If you would like to visit on March 20-23 or March 27-30, please register for one of our information sessions and tours.

This full day special visit program is designed for admitted first year and transfer students in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and their parents and is held in conjunction with our annual professional conference, Pharmacy and Health Sciences Day. In addition to experiencing part of the professional conference, prospective students and their families will participate in additional programming, including a keynote speaker, academic break-out sessions, science lab tours, opportunities to learn about student research, a Q&A panel with current students and alumni, lunch on campus and an optional campus tour. We hope you will join us for Pharmacy and Health Sciences Admitted Student Day!
This full-day program is designed with the admitted student in mind and features a conference-type format with several concurrent sessions each hour for students and parents to attend. Sessions include academic meetings with faculty, class options, residence and dining hall tours, information break-out sessions on a wide array of Drake programs and services, lunch in Hubbell Dining Hall and much, much more.
The program will begin with check-in and continental breakfast at 7:30am in Old Main, Levitt Hall and will conclude at 3:00pm.
This in-depth program is designed to introduce prospective students and parents to the features, benefits and academic programs offered at Drake University. The program will offer academic meetings with faculty in Drake's Colleges and Schools; student, parent and alumni panels; campus tours; an information fair; admission, financial aid and scholarship information and lunch with the Drake community.
For high school sophomores and juniors only
This two-hour program includes an overview about the features and benefits of a Drake University education and the admission, financial aid and scholarship programs and a campus tour with a Drake student.
Program available at 3pm on March 3, March 24, and April 7. Available at 10am and 2pm on March 20-23 and March 27-30.

This special day for sophomores and juniors includes a Drake University overview, a student panel, a campus tour and an optional complimentary lunch in Hubbell Dining Hall.
Campus Preview Half-Days are offered twice daily at either 9:00 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the program.
Campus Preview Half-Days are designed to give prospective students a sample of life at Drake. Visitors can choose either a morning or afternoon session and the itinerary will include a campus tour, an admission presentation, an academic breakout session with a faculty member, and an optional lunch in Drake's dining hall.

The Campus Preview Day agenda is from 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the program.
Campus Preview Days are full-day programs designed for prospective students and parents to learn more about life at Drake.
