Please note this was an invite-only trip, reserved only for those who registered in advance. Please do not share information on this site with other prospective students who are not confirmed on the trip. We have an exact seat-count for the bus and can't add people on last-minute.
If you need to cancel your spot on the Chicago Bus Trip, let us know right away. A wait-list has formed to get on the bus. If you are canceling, we can fill your spot with a waiting student.
You indicated on your registration card whether you wanted to be picked up at Target (Rosemont) or the Naperville-Chicago Marriott (Naperville). DO NOT SWITCH LOCATIONS. Your admission counselor will be expecting you at the location you requested. If you are not at the right location indicated, you may miss the bus!
If you are running late or get lost arriving at your location on March 6, call the admission counselors on the bus right away so that we know you are still coming.
In order to board the bus, you must bring your signed permission slip to your bus pick-up location: Chicago Bus Trip Liability Release
The weather in Des Moines is usually the same as Chicago. Check online in advance and pack clothes that will be weather appropriate. You will be walking outside across campus a lot both on Sunday and Monday. We suggest you pack for a "sleepover". You will be sleeping in your host student's dorm, most likely on the floor. Don't forget:
We suggest you leave at home any valuables or electronics that you would not want to accidently lose or leave behind on campus. Any thing you pack will be your own responsibility.
Meals are paid for out of your trip registration fee, however you may want to bring extra spending money for snacks or visiting the Drake bookstore.
