Drake Curriculum
The Drake Curriculum will assist you in acquiring the fundamental knowledge, behaviors and skills you'll need to succeed in your career and in life. The curriculum allows you to choose classes across disciplines and within your major that fit your interests and help fulfill your educational goals.
You'll begin with a First-Year Seminar — small classes (20 students) on topics that hone your analytical, critical thinking and communication skills, as well as your creativity. In most First-Year Seminars, students live on the same residence hall floor together. You will conclude with a Senior Capstone course — a research project, thesis or other major work that demonstrates your ideas and abilities.
