Honors Program

The Honors Program is open to all students from all majors in the University who want to participate in challenging, discussion-based courses on interdisciplinary and topical issues. The Honors Program curriculum replaces the otherwise required "Area of Inquiry" (general education) curriculum that all other students complete.

Some highlights of the program:

  • Integrated academic and social interaction in a variety of settings
  • Programs span several disciplines and approaches to learning
  • Small class sizes are limited to 20 students
  • The promotion of independent thinking and intellectual creativity
  • Building of leadership skills in a rigorous, transformative environment
