Career Services
Drake's Professional and Career Development Services is an important resource for all students, whether you're choosing a major, seeking internships, writing your resume, applying to graduate school or launching your career. You can use the center's resources, attend its workshops, consult its library and work with its staff beginning in your first year.
A variety of on-campus jobs are available to students eligible for federal work-study awards, based on calculated financial need. Students apply for work-study awards by completing the FAFSA. Employment awards generally range from $500 to $1,600 per year. A typical Drake student works eight to 12 hours each week.
