Cheer on Drake's NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic teams. Or get in the game yourself and participate in club or intramural sports; Drake has more than 20 to choose from that are open to all students.
Varsity Athletics
Drake competes at the NCAA Division I Level as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference and the Pioneer Football League. All Drake athletic events and recreational programs are free to students. Men's intercollegiate teams include football, basketball, cross country, track and field, golf, soccer and tennis. Club Sports
Club sports are University-recognized organizations comprising Drake students, faculty and staff. Initiated and run by students, these particular clubs, which are either recreational or competitive, are organized for the purpose of furthering interest in a particular sport. Club sports are formed each year. Below is a list of clubs that have been offered on campus in the last few years, but the list may be different when you are a student. If you want to play a certain club sport at Drake, the recreation staff will help you form it!
