Student Recruitment

Do something great for your alma mater and high school students you know: Encourage them to enroll at Drake.  Sharing your Drake experience and promoting the University can be powerful recruiting tools.

Participate in student recruitment efforts in several ways:

• Refer a high school student you know to Drake by clicking on the “Recruit a Student” icon on the right side of this page

• Represent Drake at a college fair in your area

• Host or attend a reception in your area for prospective students and their families

Fostering Future Alumni Success

Drake’s Career bluePrint lets you mentor Drake students in their career journeys and also advance your own career.  The “Be a Mentor” program connects alumni with Drake students through activities including e-mail networking, mock interviews, job shadowing and resume critiquing.  As a mentor, you define how you want to work with students and the time commitment involved.  Alumni can also use Career bluePrint to upload their resumes and cover letters, access job postings and network with alumni mentors in their area of interest.
