Friday, May 16:

Drake National Alumni Association Annual Awards Dinner
Parents Hall, Olmsted Center, Drake campus. The reception (with cash bar) will begin at 6:00 pm; the dinner – featuring the ever-popular Scandinavian smorgasbord – and awards program will begin at 7:00 pm. Cost is $25 per person.

Saturday, May 17:

Reunion Registration and Lunch
Levitt Hall, Old Main, Drake campus, 11 am. Welcome home! Enjoy reconnecting with classmates and your University. Cost is $15 per person.

Campus Tour
We’ll depart from Old Main at approximately 1 pm. You’ll be amazed by the changes on campus, but rest assured the sights will still trigger plenty of fond memories.

Bus Tour of Des Moines
We’ll depart from Old Main at approximately 2:30 pm. If you haven’t toured Iowa’s capital even in the past year or so, you’ll see lots of wonderful changes along with the city’s favorite fixtures.

50-Year Club Reception and Dinner
Embassy Club, 801 Grand Avenue, downtown Des Moines; reception, 6:00 pm; photo of the Class of 1958, 6:30 pm; dinner and program, 7:00 pm. Class of 1958, this is your time to shine! You will be honored and inducted into Drake’s 50-Year Club. All alumni in the classes of 1958 and earlier will be invited to this fun, festive event. Cost is $45 per person.

Sunday, May 18:

Complimentary Continental Breakfast
Bell Center Multipurpose Room, Drake campus, 8:30 am. Members of the Class of 1958 and their guests are invited to enjoy a light breakfast prior to the Commencement exercises.

127th Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony
Knapp Center, 10:00 am. Class of 1958 members will don gold robes and their medallions, presented at the 50-Year Club Dinner, and join the newest Drake graduates amid the pomp and circumstance of Commencement. This is a moment you won’t want to miss!

Class of 1958 Reunion Lunch
Hubbell Dining Hall, 12:00 pm. You remember the building from your student years, but the “dining” is finer these days. Wrap up your reunion with this fun, informal lunch. Cost is $8 per person.
