The Chichicastenango Sunday market is the largest market in the area, and all sorts of traditional (and non-traditional) crafts, weavings, and food can be found there. Very few of us leave without buying some souveniers or presents for folks back in the States, and some are forced to purchase duffel bags just so they can bring all their loot home.
