MUSIC WITH ELECTIVES IN BUSINESS

Drake is one of the few institutions that offers the Bachelor of Music with business electives. The degree is structured so students are able to balance interests in music with a strong secondary concentration in business. These business courses are offered through a special cooperative arrangment with Drake's College of Business and Public Administration.

Special Opportunities/Career Options

As part of the music business program, students complete a professional intership during their junior or senior year. Graduates of the program are prepared for full-time work in the field of music business. Graduates also have all of the prerequisites required to begin a master's in business administration.
