Brass, Woodwinds and Percussion

All prospective students desiring to audition in brass and woodwind instruments are required to perform an audition of two selections, contrasting in style. Auditions should be 10 to 20 minutes long, and any solo selection, such as those for State Solo Contests, is acceptable.

Percussion students are asked to audition on mallets, snare drum, and timpani.

Harp
All prospective students desiring to audition in harp are required to perform an audition of two harp solos, contrasting in style, and two orchestral excerpts of the auditionee's choice.

The degrees available to wind, percussion, and harp students are:

Bachelor of Music in Performance
Bachelor of Music Education
Bachelor of Music with Elective Studies in Business
Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Music
