Preparation
As the Drake Chamber Choir prepares for its trip to England, all that remains is one more day of rehearsing, a concert and luncheon for nearby parents and other choir supporters, and, oh yes, packing. Sunday morning Dr. ABC and the choir shared their repertoire during Mass at St. Ambrose Cathedral in Des Moines. The congregation (and the choir, I think) received a brief foreshadowing of the great acoustics that all on the trip will experience in some of England's most beautiful cathedrals.
As your tour "blogger" and unofficial tour photographer, I (Dave Collier, also known as Mr. ABC) will be posting photos and daily student journals on this site as time and internet connections permit. London is six hours ahead of U.S. Central Standard Time. I believe that by simply clicking on a photo, you'll be able to print, e-mail, or save the image. I'll do my best to keep you current and give you a sense of what we are experiencing.
Please notice that you are welcome to post your comments on the blog as well.
