The Chamber Choir is Drake's most select choral ensemble, with membership drawn from the Drake Choir. The Chamber Choir performs on each choral concert and is the featured ensemble for the annual Madrigal Dinners presented during the Christmas season. The ensemble tours regionally and internationally with the Drake Choir and has its own tour to England every four years during winter break. Chamber Choir has sung in the cathedrals of Salisbury, Winchester, and Ely, at St. Martin in the Field, St. James Piccadilly, and Grosvenor Chapel in London, and in the chapel of St. John's College, Cambridge University. The ensemble will return to England in January 2010. Auditions for the ensemble take place in April for returning students and for new students during the weekend before the fall semester begins.
