Mrs. Dina Else received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of Northern Iowa. She has completed all of her doctoral course work at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy. Mrs. Else has taught High School Vocal Music in Iowa for the past several years as well as serving on the voice faculties of Wartburg College, the University of Northern Iowa, the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and Ithaca College. In the year 2000 she was the Women's Opus Honor Choir conductor and continues to enjoy serving as guest conductor/clinician at various festivals and workshops through out the State of Iowa. As a Mezzo-Soprano, she has performed many opera and oratorio roles, including: Carmen in Bizet’s Carmen, Prince Orlofsky in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, and multiple performances of Handel’s Messiah. Dina co-authors the Vocal Edge column in the Sounding Board for the Iowa Choral Directors Association.She is currently teaches vocal classes and studio voice at Drake University.
