1. Organization of the College of Arts and Sciences1.2 Division/School Structure
The College of Arts and Sciences is organized into the Division of Humanities (English, Modern Languages, History and Philosophy/Religion), the Division of Natural Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics/Computer Science, Physics, and Psychology), the Division of Social Sciences (Politics and International Relations), and the School of Fine Arts (Art, Music, and Theatre Arts). The Environmental Science and Policy Program and the Department for the Study of Culture & Society are interdisciplinary, with representatives in Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. The purpose of the divisional/school structure is to ensure representation of disciplinary areas in the governing bodies in the college.
