All students should subscribe to the Limnology e-mail serve list (think of it as the Limnology electronic
bulletin board). It will be used to send announcements, study guides, practice questions, and
worksheets to students.

To subscribe follow these steps:
1. SEND a mail message to: mailserv@acad.drak.edu
2. leave the subject line blank
3. the body of the message should contain only the following line:
SUBSCRIBE LIMNOLOGY-L FIRSTNAME LASTNAME (substitute your first and last
names)
4. you should receive a reply from mailserv stating you have been added to the list

80 to 90% - demonstrates high understanding of basic material and some proficeincy with
complex subjects, some success in applying information in novel situations; good motivation
and thinking skills

67.5 to 80%- demonstrates good understanding of most basic material but very little complex
material; very little success in applying information to novel situations; variable motivation and
average thinking skills

55 to 67.5%- demonstrates some understanding of basic material; can't apply information to
novel situations, low motivation

less than 55%- demonstrates very little understanding of material; probably doesn't come to
class; poor motivation
