Capstone (3 hours)
One senior seminar
selected from ENG 175-197
English 60 and 61 should be taken in the first
year or second year. The Department recommends that students take courses
numbered 20-99 earlier in their plan of study for the purpose of better preparing
themselves for courses at the 100-174 level. Three elective credits toward the major (at the 1-99 level) are given for
Advanced Placement. Transfer students must take a minimum of 18 credit hours
in the Drake English Department.
Program of study for
minor: Minimum of 18 credit hours in English, including ENG 61,
ENG 60, one from each of the two columns in the writing core. An English faculty advisor
is required. |
