Welcome to the All Staff Council

 It is the primary mission of the Drake University All Staff Council to promote a positive and collaborative campus work environment.  The Board exists to strengthen communication among and between various University constituencies; to provide a forum for discussing and defining the role of staff in the University; to provide a vehicle for communication of interests, concerns and issues that impact staff; to garner a broad base of input into the strategic goals initiatives of the University; to contribute to a culture of inclusion and recognition.

Upcoming Event:

During the Thanksgiving Grand Buffet, the All-Staff Council Special Events Committee will collect non-perishable food items and cash to be donated to the DMARC Emergency Food Pantry. The buffet will be held in Parents Hall from 11:00-2:00 on Thursday, November 19, 2009. All buffet attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for DMARC. Thanks for your support.

Recent Events:

Drake community celebrates fall with Pumpkin Palooza.
Faculty and staff donated canned food items for the DMARC food pantry and enjoyed a festive fall lunch. Participants also gathered for the presentation of the monthly SPOTlight award.

All members of the staff are welcome to attend a meeting or participate in the existing committees: Recognition, Governance, Communications, and Special Events. Find out more by checking out the committee pages. Additionally, all staff members are welcome to attend the Executive Council Meetings.
