Recognition Committee
The All-Staff Council Recognition Committee has introduced the SPOTlight Awards. By making a nomination you have the opportunity to highlight the beyond the call of duty actions of a close co-worker or fellow staff member from across campus. Share how this staff member has taken the daily grind and perfected it to shine for everyone.
Nominate a Drake University staff member who demonstrates "Superior Performance and Outstanding Talent" with

• Fiscal Responsibility
Nomination forms for the SPOTlight Award are posted in buildings all over campus and in the Human Resources channel (Employee Tab) of blueView. Completed nomination forms should be sent directly to the Human Resources office.
SPOTlight winners will be announced to the Drake University community and each SPOTlight winner will be eligible for the All-Staff Best in Show Awards at the Best in Show Party.
Take a minute to nominate that hard working colleague that you know is making a difference at Drake for you and the University.
Andrea McDonough receives award for outstanding work
Andrea McDonough, Communications Assistant, in Marketing and Communications received the most recent SPOTlight award. It was said "without Andrea, Marketing and Communications doesn't function right. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to make our lives easier! If something needs to be taken care of, she does it. Andrea deserves to be honored for her teamwork, tireless dedication to service and professionalism. She makes Drake a wonderful place to work."
All staff, faculty members and students are encouraged to nominate any staff member for the SPOTlight award. The awards aim to recognize employees who have excelled in the areas of excellence, creativity, learning, community involvement, integrity and fiscal responsibility.
