About Career Services

Drake's Career Services equips students with the knowledge and profession-based skills needed to be successful.

Beginning a student's first year, our career experts help undergraduates develop a clear and concise strategy toward reaching their professional aspirations. A path which entails a mixture of classroom work, comprehensive resources and hands-on learning.

To coincide with classroom teaching, students have access to an extensive library of educational tools designated to helping students refine specific skillsets. A few of those resources include how to craft a professional resume, enhancing interview techniques, and guidance on how to effectively communicate in the workplace.

And finally, undergraduates can put their knowledge and skillsets into practice through any number of available career enhancement opportunities.

Over the years, our experienced staff has successfully helped connect undergraduates with real world experiences in the form of internships, research study, job shadowing, service projects, and applicable part-time occupations.
