Society of Actuaries

They are the professional organization for life, health, and pension actuaries.   They administer examinations leading to Associate and Fellow designations.   Their web site has a great deal of information about the actuarial profession and about the examination system.

Drake University

Drake University is a private, fully accredited, coeducational university on a 120-acre campus in Des Moines, the capital and largest city in Iowa.
