Professional and career development is an important part of your Drake education that begins your first year on campus. Before you graduate, you will have a solid foundation of academic achievement, interview and internship experiences, and the skills and knowledge to be successful in your field of choice. We encourage every student to pursue internships and provide a number of tools and avenues to do so. In fact, about 88 percent of business students graduate with at least one internship.
Beyond the classroom, the CBPA Professional and Career Development Center (PCDC), sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, is an important resource available every weekday for undergraduate and graduate business students. The center is located in Aliber Hall, Room 201, and hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
