Lance Noe, director of the Drake University Center for Professional Studies, will discuss challenges associated with Iowa’s aging workforce during an event organized by the Des Moines Business Record next month.
Noe is a panelist for the Business Record’s June 1 installment of the Power Breakfast Series, which focuses on “The Silver Tsunami.” Five workforce experts, including Noe, will discuss challenges facing Iowa’s workplaces, talk about possible solutions, and generate strategies for leveraging the so-called Silver Tsunami to drive shareholder value.

In his role as director of Drake's Center for Professional Studies, Noe develops specialized certificate and professional programming for public, nonprofit, and private sector organizations. He also serves as a member of the College of Business and Public Administration faculty, teaching in the Master of Public Administration and Master of Business Administration programs. His areas of teaching, consulting, research, and publications include public policy, grant writing, fund raising, state and local government, conflict management, and negotiation and leadership. His education includes degrees and post-graduate work at Iowa State University, Florida Atlantic University and Drake University.
