Instructor Resources

  • The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) is available online, for free. ERIC allows you to search a large number of journal and non-journal sources. You may search for journals that are peer reviewed only and/or for complete articles (full text).
  • Individuals can visit the Cowles Library on the Drake University Campus (2725 University Avenue) and use all of the resources available to Drake University students, faculty and staff. However, you may not checkout materials.
  • Teachers (PreK-12) may apply for Cowles Library "Borrowing Privileges". Teachers must pay a $35.00 annual fee but are allowed full on-campus library access. If you are a Drake alumnus, there is no charge. Follow the below link.

Kevin Lam, assistant professor of urban and diversity education at Drake University, has received a 2016 Critics’ Choice book award for his book titled Youth Gangs, Racism, and Schooling: Vietnamese American Youth in a Postcolonial Context.
