Course Overview

In this series for teachers in grades K-12, Dr. William Glasser presents his new ideas about competency-based teaching, assessment, and teaching strategies that ensure the success of every student. Featured in the videos are actual lessons taught in Glasser quality schools. The lessons are presented with little or no editing to show you from start to finish how to create and conduct lessons in which every student can succeed.

In this course, you will:

  • See lessons taught in real classrooms in Glasser Quality Schools.
  • Create and teach lessons that produce competency-based learning.
  • Deal with student unhappiness that causes under achievement.
  • Use choice theory to create more effective lesson plans and units.
  • Learn many new teaching skills and techniques.

"Every Student Can Succeed" will give you new skills to bring your lessons alive and engage all students in successful learning. You will learn by watching master teachers present their favorite, most effective lessons in actual classrooms. Then, you will apply what you have learned to ensure that every one of your students will succeed.

This course is available in VHS or DVD format.

Dr. Glasser is the founder and president of the William Glasser Institute, an organization formed to educate the public about choice theory and its applications.
