Video Courses for Teachers

Drake University Continuing Education & Professional Development partners with Quality Educational Programs, Inc. to provide 3 credit graduate level courses in a video correspondence format. These courses provide K-12 educators with practical content in a convenient manner. You may enroll in a maximum of 12 graduate credit hours in one semester.

Always check in advance to make sure you can use these courses/credit in the manner you wish. Most use credits from QEP courses for:

  • Renewal of teaching certificates. 
  • Advancement on local salary schedules. 
  • Elective credits in graduate degree programs (check in advance with your advisor). 

You may enroll in a maximum of 12 graduate credit hours in one semester through Continuing Education & Professional Development.

Summer Registration Period: April 1 - June 30, 2018

In an effort to improve services to our students, registrations for QEP courses are now being taken by Drake University. Click on the title of the course in which you would like to register. This will take you to our online registration system. You will need to create a username and password to enroll. You will use this same system to upload your completed coursework. Expedited Grading

The Drake Distance Learning Center does offer expedited grading. We will grade your materials and report a letter grade to our Registrar within 5 business days after receipt of your course work in our Distance Learning Center. The expedited grading fee is $90.00 per course. Follow the directions for the expedite process when you submit your coursework through (formerly known as ABC Sign-Up) Learning Stream.
