International Teaching and Research Interests:

My particular interests in both teaching and research address educational issues for girls, particularly access to education, appropriateness of educational programming for high risk categories of girls (those with special needs), and the interaction of cultural variables in special education programming/services.

EDUC 199/WS 179   Global Perspectives in Spirituality and Teaching/Learning

Geographic areas of special interest:

Hong Kong and China; Caribbean nations; developing nations with minimal access to education for girls.

Languages spoken:

French and Japanese.

Professional and civic organizations:

Have worked for Global Interactions, Inc. in the past arranging educational exchanges for special educators in China and India.
