CEL Tool Kit

If you are planning a community engagement or service-learning component in the upcoming semesters our CEL Tool Kit has plenty of tools to help you with reflection, partnership management, group dynamics, and more.

Nationally there is also a very active Higher Ed Service-Learning Discussion Group and anyone can subscribe to the listserve.

Just a brief note to tell you that I’ve begun to grade my students’ reflection papers from Psychology of Prejudice and I have tears in my eyes.
The DEAL model you offered to me (and the day I spent perfecting the assignment prompts….) allowed the students to make the lasting kinds of connections that I envisioned this class would do. I cannot thank you enough.

Thank you so much for your help with Welcome Weekend! We think it went AMAZING and heard great informal feedback from the RAs, they got a lot out of it!  One RA even told me that it was the best part of RA Development.  So cool! We think RAs are really going to intentionally plan better service opportunities with their residents because of this experience.  THANK YOU!
