A graduate of the Drake College of Pharmacy and also with a MBA from the Graduate School of Business, University of Chicago. Davidson practiced retail pharmacy in Illinois and Florida as well as hospital pharmacy at Walter Road Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

While in the Army, he spent 32+ years with Abbott Laboratories starting as a District Hospital Representative and advancing to assignments in their medical department; District Sales Manager in Philadelphia; Product Manager for cardiovascular products; Regional Sales Manger; Director Sales Development (marketing liaison, sales and management training, territory development, professional relations, etc.) and culmulation as Director of Field Sales for the Hospital Products Division. He spent the last eight years of his career in California as the Western Area Sales Director.

Davidson is an active private pilot, instrument rated and has been very active at Drake in many capacities including the past several years as a member of the Board of Trustees.
