I am graduating with a PharmD and another graduate degree (e.g. MBA, MPA). What do I need to know?
- For those of you that will be receiving combined degrees during the 2008 Graduate Commencement Ceremony, here are a few pieces of information that you may find helpful as you prepare for May 18th: You have a graduation application on file for the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Please ensure at this time that you also have an additional graduation application on file at the college of your combined degree [ie College of Business for MBA]. You will be listed in the program in two places -- The College of Pharmacy as your primary degree as well as the college of your combined degree. You will receive your hood at the Hooding Ceremony on Friday, May 17th. You will walk across the stage twice at the 2:00 graduate commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18th, once for Pharmacy and once for the combined degree. It is customary that you sit with Pharmacy, your primary degree, and then when your combined degree is called, you will stand and line up with the recipients of your combined degree who had been seated together. You do not need to get an additional tassel for the combined degree, only the Pharmacy regalia.
