Background:
Liz graduated from Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1999. Pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry, Liz was accepted into Rutgers University’s Post-Doctoral Industrial Fellowship Program.  Following her fellowship, she was hired by Bristol-Myers Squibb and served in their medical affairs division where she held numerous corporate and field-based positions of increasing responsibility.  In 2006, Liz joined Takeda Pharmaceuticals where she provided scientific input and support for clinical development, life-cycle management and commercialization strategies in the diabetes and cardiovascular franchises.  In her most recent role as Senior Scientific Associate Director, she was recognized in Japan for her excellence in performance with the Takeda Global Award.  Liz is currently serving as a personal pharmacist to three beautiful children and looks forward to returning to the workforce when she has taught them the importance of measuring to the center of the meniscus and the importance if eutectics.
