FAQ
Question: Is it possible for a high school student to complete the pre-pharmacy and professional degree programs in five years instead of six?
Answer: The professional portion of the program cannot be completed in less than four years. It may be possible to complete the two years of the pre-pharmacy program in one year if a high school student has had the opportunity to complete a year of biology, a year of chemistry, and enough other coursework to total 25-30 credit hours when entering Drake. The credit could be earned through AP, IB, GCE Advanced Level examinations or at a community college or other postsecondary institution. In this very specific situation, a student could possibly be able to graduate in 5 years instead of 6 years. Students would then interview in the fall semester of their freshman year.
