    Metacrawler. This search engine searches all the other major search engines simultaneously to find the best matches on all the 'Net. You can cutomize how fast it is and how thorough the search, but this guy is no speed demon.

    OpenText. This site's claim to fame is the ability for phrase searching, eliminating many of those "undesirable" links.

    Cyber Caucus. Drake University's electronic look at Iowa's First-in-the-nation caucus. Includes county-by-county report of the 1996 Presiental caucus.

    The Times Delphic Online. Drake University's Student newspaper. Check out this site for more stories written by the CyberStaff.

    The American Journalism Review. Includes excellent articles about the digital age.

    Link Exchange's Web News Headlines. From the company that allows "free" advertising of personal, educational and commercial homepages, Link Exchange offers a wonderful index of all the news about the World Wide Web and computers. A great place to browse and gather information about the Information age.

    TotalNews.com TotalNews is a site that filters and sorts stories from all of the major news sources on the Internet.

    Washingtonpost.com. The editor's choice for the best major newspaper on the Internet.

    New York Times. A wonderful electronic resource.

    NandoNet. Another newspaper online. Known for its fast updates in late-breaking stories.

    NewJersey Online's NewsFlash. Why, you ask? Because NJ online is incorporating a test program for the associated press, called "The Wire". It literally provides up-to-the-minute news. That's right, every minute NJ updates the web page on your browser to bring you the latest news. Cool, huh?

    CNN. Not only a program schedule, the CNN page has up-to-the-minute news and information. A real winner!

    The Los Angeles Times Online. Wonderful on-line newspaper. Check out the "Hunter" section.

    The White House.If you've never been to the whitehouse homepage, then you've missed something great. Check it out today, even if you're not a Democrat or a Republican.

    US Census Bureau. Want to know anything about any city or town in the United States? This place has it all!
