Charitable Volunteerism and Philanthropy: Using Time, Talent and Treasure to Create Change

This session will delve into the foundations of direct service and philanthropy. Participants will explore their values and interests in order to better understand how they can make the greatest community impact. Participants will leave with knowledge of the tools utilized for finding volunteer opportunities (both on campus and in the Des Moines Community), a better understanding of ways to be helpful and concrete ideas for making a difference in the lives of others.
