What the Fack?

Fracking (hydraulic fracturing for the extraction of oil from rocks) is one of today's most contentious energy issues.  As the debate heats up, meaningful dialogue that can lead to understanding and problem solving can get left behind.  In this session, participants will role-play a position on the issue of fracking using a model of public dialogue that helps them move beyond the partisan stalemate to achieve fresh perspective. We won't resolve the conflict in this session, but expect to develop an appreciation of other points of view and of the complexity surrounding this issue.
