Marc Gunther

Marc Gunther writes and speaks about business and sustainability. He is a editor-at-large of Guardian Sustainable Business US, a contributing editor at Fortune magazine and a blogger at www.marcgunther.com.

Marc was a senior writer at Fortune from 1996 to 2008. He wrote cover stories about the greening of Wal-Mart, about Warren Buffett’s electric car company and about spirituality in the workplace. He is the author of several books including Faith and Fortune: How Compassionate Capitalism is Transforming American Business (Crown Business, 2004), and Suck It Up: How capturing carbon from the air can help solve the climate crisis, a 2012 Amazon Kindle Single.

A graduate of Yale, Marc lives in Bethesda, MD. He is on the board of Net Impact, an organization of students and young professionals who seek to use the power of business to create a more sustainable and just world.
