The Drake TeleMedia Center exists to bring media technology and users together for the purpose of enhancing communication, providing a full range of high quality media support services to a broad range of academic and administrative units on campus and non-profit clients statewide.

DTC staff maintain high standards of service and professionalism, striving to provide creative, innovative and cost-effective solutions to media-related needs.

DTC also serves as the main distribution center for The College Channel (Central Iowa cable channel 16, licensed to the Des Moines Consortium for Higher Education) and the Drake University Educational and Residence Services cable television networks.
