Author Guidelines

Current Drake undergraduates and recent graduates from Drake undergraduate programs are eligible to submit papers for consideration by the student editorial board.

Submissions must represent original, previously unpublished scholarship and must engage research questions and methods, and yield insights of interest to, a broad scholarly audience in the social sciences. Papers should be submitted in Word form to the faculty advisor of the DUSSJ editorial board, at advisor.dussj@gmail.com.

All author-identifying information must be removed from each submission to protect the double-blind nature of the peer review process. Submitting authors also should include (in a separate Word file) a brief biographical note and abstract that will be published with the paper, upon acceptance by the board. All standard formats for bibliographic references are welcome.
