Editorial Process

Submissions must represent original, previously unpublished scholarship and must engage research questions and methods that yield insights of interest to a broad scholarly audience in the social sciences. All author-identifying information must be removed from each submission to protect the double-blind nature of the peer review process. Submitting authors also should include (in a separate Word file) a brief biographical note and abstract that will be published with the paper, upon acceptance by the board. All standard formats for bibliographic references are welcome.

The process begins in the fall semester, when members of the student editorial board issue a call for papers. Papers must be submitted by the stipulated deadline, in Word format, via email to advisor.dussj@gmail.com. Papers granted a conditional acceptance by the student editorial board are returned to the authors with editorial requests for revision and must be re-submitted to the board, typically within 10-14 days. The student editorial board then reaches final determinations about acceptance/rejection and prepares all accepted submissions for publication in early April.
